Percussion + Red & Near-Infrared Light Cupping Therapy
Treatment Time: 50 Minutes
Percussion Therapy and Red & Near-Infrared Light Cupping Therapy are deep-tissue, myofascial releasing therapies that stimulate the muscles to improve blood flow and circulation to restore the restricted muscle movement. The increased blood flow from cupping and deep-tissue penetration power from percussion therapy both help speed up healing to the to help the body heal faster and thoroughly!
As previously mentioned, Red & Near-Infrared Light Cupping Therapy is FDA-approved for pain relief and the improvement of musculoskeletal conditions and disorders such as arthritis, bursitis, fibromyalgia, and tendonitis. Red & Near-Infrared Light Cupping Therapy naturally centralizes blood to the injured areas and percussion therapy then re-distributes the blood to flush out inflammatory toxins and waste, ultimately resulting in increased comfort and mobility.
Treatment Synopsis:
Myofascial pain syndrome is a chronic pain disorder. In this condition, pressure on sensitive points in your muscles (trigger points) causes pain in the muscle and sometimes in seemingly unrelated parts of your body. This is called referred pain.
This syndrome typically occurs after a muscle has been contracted repetitively. This can be caused by repetitive motions used in jobs or hobbies or by stress-related muscle tension. While nearly everyone has experienced muscle tension pain, the discomfort associated with myofascial pain syndrome persists or worsens.
Possible signs and symptoms of myofascial pain may include:
Deep, aching pain in a muscle
Acute and chronic pain that persists or worsens
A tender muscle knot
Difficulty sleeping due to pain
Delicate areas of tight muscle fibers can form in your muscles after injuries or overuse. These sensitive areas are known as trigger points. A trigger point in a muscle can cause strain and pain throughout the muscle. When this pain persists and worsens, doctors call it myofascial pain syndrome.
Percussion and Red & Near-Infrared Light Cupping Therapy help release these trigger points to alleviate pain from tight muscle fibers and provide relief to the injured area(s). Both therapies penetrate deep beneath the skin to reach muscle tissues and provide healing to any of the damaged or tight muscle fibers and tissues.
Results vary depending on the client’s individual condition. However, most clients receive relief after the first treatment.
